Birds

Owls continue to make regular visits to the birdbath 2-3 at a time at dusk. At least one hummer still makes sporadic visits to the feeder and salvias. Also hanging around are the ladderback(s?) and the house finches. Mockingbirds have started to make regular appearances, and there seems to be at least one youngster, scrawny and striped underneath. Young blue jays seem to be around too, with at least two scruffy bare-headed pups at the birdbath.
