Peanuts

Something we've noticed the past few weeks. Peanuts used to disappear from the feeder within a few hours or half a day earlier in the year. Now it takes several days. Is it just not the time to find and cache? Is it that there are no longer chicks to feed? Is it just too damn hot to eat peanuts?
